  1. Abdul or Yusuf.

Yusuf has the advantage of easily being "Anglicised" to Joseph.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and best wishes for a safe and happy arrival.

  2. I am not Muslim but I congratulate you for your coming baby boy!  I've always liked the sound of the name Thariq, but if that sounds too Arabic, what about Omar? It would recall the builder of the Dome of the Rock, the handsomeness of the movie star and can be pronounced to sound like Homer, the poet!

  3. here's alink u can pick a name that u like:

    http://www.sudairy.com/arabic/masc.html

  4. I knew someone with the name Larby he was from algery.

  5. I think Muhammad would be a strong name because it is after the prophet

  6. Talha, Aslam, Nadeem, Naheem, Saad, Assad, Fahad, Khalid, Yasir, Moiz, Amir, Khavir and their are many more

  7. Abdullah and AbduRahman is the best

    Mohammad, Ahmed, Mustafa

Omar , Baker, Othman and Ali

    Hamza , Zaid, Khalid

  8. Adam is a very common name.

  9. There is nothing called islamic names. there are arabic/persian/turkish names which are commonly used by muslims. Any name that does not has derogatory or unislamic meaning are considered good(so ther eis nothing strong/weak name).

Usually names with 2 syllabal is good and simple for non-arabs to pronounced. also arabic names are pronounced more from the throat. So choosing a name with less pronounciation from the throat will be good. also check if the name is similar to any local slang or similarly pronounced words in english/local language and avoid them (children get teased in school if their name is similar to something funny/bad word).

I suggest you put this question is the ramadan section where most muslims post or check questions

  10. Mohammed [ most famous of all]

    Omar
