What is a good Motorcycle for a couple?

We want one for weekend drives. I'd like it to be something my girlfriend could handle by herself. She's 5'6" and around 130lbs. I'm 6'2" so I could handle any size bike.

I'm a 5'6" girlie and I absolutlely love my ex's Yamaha XJR1300 (he's got a new bike, so I ride the XJR). I'm not sure what 130lbs is but I'm about 8.5 - 9 stone and although the XJR is heavy and very large looking it's actually quite an easy bike to handle once you get used to it as the centre of gravity is quite low. Mine also has wider than normal bars fitted which makes the bike easier to turn at slower speed.

It's a really powerful yet easy to ride bike - incredibly well mannered, it doesn't run away with you (unless you let it!). It's the best of all worlds, comfy, fast, pretty, great in towns, great on the open roads, it has real road presence (something my smaller Guzzi doesn't have) and your girlfriend will get many admiring glances getting off a bike like that at bike meets.
