I have gotten off track with my eating habits the past few weeks and I am feeling so yucky and sluggish. I am not looking for one of those "Lose 10lbs in a week gimmics". I just wants to know some natural ways to clean out my system without pills or starving myself.

I am already drinking a gallon of water a day, but wanted different ideas.

  1. Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

  2. you can do a colonics. this is basically a enima (sp?) only more in depth. i have done it many times. not only does it clean you out but it can help clear your skin. there are other options as well. there is a center in harrisburg, pa called natures lighthouse. it is a wellness center. you could find the site and look up alternatives. it really is a great idea. you might not live around there but you could atleast check it out to see some other options, hope this works!

  3. A really good , make of Aloe Vera taken over ten days would work,it tastes like sour grapefruit juice , but it is a brilliant cleanser toner and purifier of the whole digestive system.

Another thing I have found really helpful when i have been a lazy eater or getting over an an anesthetic is to combine this with a platinum detoxx. Look it up on the web , its widely available and no more intrusive than a foot spa.

i achieved brilliant results combining the two , and then just taking a small dose of aloe to keep my system in peak condition. aloe also has the benefit of being an anti viral anti inflammatory and anti bacterial , so it boosts your health and well being and ability to absorb the minerals and vitamins from your food.

  4. Juice all your fresh veggies and fruits

or eat a bunch of prunes

  5. keep drinking plenty of water, but you also need to be eating low glycemic fruits and vegetables for one week. make sure they are prepared with little sodium or other seasonings. the best way to cleanse your system is to eat as much natural products as possible. so if you like raw vegetables, that would be best. no dips or dressings. also try not to eat any meats. if you feel yourself becoming faint eat a handful of broiled chicken. Check out the Glycemic Index Food Book for more information on healthier eating and recipes for low glycemic meals, which can be bought here: http://www.marketamerica.com/jenniferbro...

  6. For three days eat nothing but raw fruits and vegetables, and drink nothing but filtered water and fresh (unpasteurized) juices.

Eat as much as you want, but it is preferable that roughly twice the amount of vegetables be consumed, compared to the amount of fruit.

The volume of insoluble fiber will sweep out your intestines and scrub the intestinal walls.  Digestion and circulation improve within days, which leads to a huge spike in energy.

  7. I think you're on the right track with drinking lots of water.  Other than that, I've done a full fruit & veggie, with lots of water and no meat for a few days.

  8. Three very healthy diets with plenty of fiber and roughage are the Mediterranean diet, the Pritikin diet and a vegetarian diet.  Plenty of fiber and roughage is all you need.

Liquid chlorophyll every day also helps.

    Enemas are totally unnecessary.

  9. Stop eating anything refined and begin eating raw things!  A raw diet is an excellent cleanser!  Lots of veggies and fruits!

Dandelion is a good her to start using.  You can get the leaves in a good health food store and use in salads.  Or get a liquid from a health food store.

Milk Thistle is another good one as it helps to cleanse and detoxify your liver.

  10. Wheat grass is the ultimate detoxifier.  One ounce of wheat grass juice is equivalent to 2 lbs. of fresh vegetables.

  11. All this 'cleansing' and 'detoxing' is so much rubbish. It has been invented for commercial purposes to scam money from people who have too little knowledge to know better. The body is quite capable of 'cleaning' itself without any sort of "detox". All the websites telling how good it is are also selling something, hmm, bit of a clue there. Break away, be sensible, and forget the cleansing/detoxing scam. There are NO benefits, and despite what some unfortunate uneducated people will tell you, NOTHING actually "detoxes" you. Nothing at all.

  12. Oprah had this lady on yesterday that has a good 21 day natural cleanse. Check oprahs website

  13. green tea woks well but it  has calories  in it. also purines. but use water and lemon. it detoxifies and doesn't really have calories.   it from Jillian from biggest loser.
