Question:

What is a good XP partitioning tool?

I need to resize my existing XP partition to make space for a Linux boot loader partition. I've already tried partition logic and it seemed to work fine, but it tells me that there is an error on the disk, apparently I have a bad sector somewhere. Anyway, I ran chdks and everything turned out normal. So my question is what is a good XP partitioning tool besides partition logic that may hopefully work while the OS is running, like Vistas shrink and extend volume options?

  1. I've always had good luck with Partition Magic, but the alternative is GParted which is free and opensource.
