I'll spend up to 1,000 dollars. I want an acoustic guitar with good sound, made out of good quality material. It can either be a plain acoustic or electric acoustic. The range of music I play will vary from classical to rock.

  1. Look at Martin Taylor and Larrivee, they all make something in that price. For me I like Larrivee because of there neck width and the satin finish on the back of the neck but gloss finish on the body, this is more for looks and not all models have this but I think for the money any of these 3 would work well.

  2. Takamine is a very good guitar, well made with an awesome sound and very nice finish.

Get the one with the single cutaway because it will be easier if you plan to play on the upper registers.

Also, you can put .009 extra light gauge string without doing any truss rod adjustment. The neck is made to support this and actually, you will find it much easier to play without breaking finger nails and worrying about callouses.

  3. Acoustic Guitars can come for less as well, without being much heavy on the pocket heres the link where u can find the one u need.I have a givson bought a fortnight ago from here:

  4. As far as acoustics go, I personally prefer anything Takamine, specifically their Jasmine.  It has a wonderful sound which I have gotten many compliments on, and I play all styles of songs on it.

  5. Well, i heard Parkwood sucks as electric, but h**l yeah, they rock as acoustic, I recommend one that you can find in GuitarCenter, $899.99, I went there, I tried it, it has a clean sound, good material, and the best, you can plug it in to an amp and it has a acoustic sound, so you can record with it...You can check all the details in the website, this is the best one I recommend to you.

  6. You can buy a Taylor, a Martin or a Gibson in that price range

  7. I have two favorites in that price range: the Taylor 214CE and the Martin 000-16GT.  You can't go wrong with either of them.
