What is a good acting school for me to attend in new york?

i dont have much acting experience, but i am looking to attend a school that will build me a resume and create my portfolio at the school. I got into nustars, but i am still looking around to make the best possible choice. i have natural talent in acting.

how old are you?  do you mean a college, a performing arts high school, or other?  look into lee strasberg, stella adler, hb studios.  I will be able to help more if I know your age and education status and what kind of school you're looking for.

stage door is a good place to go for camps, especially for non-experienced actors, like yourself. the one thing i can tell you is to remain humble- that means eliminating things like "i have natural talent in acting." yes, you may, but no one really wants to hear that.. it can be a major turn off to most directors/actors who have been in the business far longer than you. not bragging, having an open mind for criticism, and growing a tough skin are the best pieces of advice I've heard and are key to a successful career. good luck to you!

also- i'm sure NYU has some programs as does Brown, BU, Yale, and many other schools in the NE.
