  1. There's a really useful web site called thistothat (http://thistothat.com ) You enter the names of the 2 materials you need to bond, and it tells you which glue to use. For metal to metal, they say:

    LePage's Metal Epoxy

    J-B Weld

Faststeel Epoxy Putty if you have gaps to fill

  2. It's a toss-up between JB Weld and Cold Weld by Permatex. Both are 2 part epoxies that can be drilled, sanded, machined, painted, and immersed in water.

I'm a little more partial to JB Weld. It seems to be a stronger bond. (Bonds iron, steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, pewter, wood ceramics, plastic).

oh, you likely won't find these in hardware stores - need to go to an auto supply house (yellow pages)

  3. idk, on racecars they use duct tape. I guess that would work. but I think the best thing to do would be to just weld them together.
