my daughter is a year old, too young yet for potty training i think, but she's already taking her diaper off and follows me into the bathroom all the time! If i don't let her in she screams! I'm just wondering.. I don't want her to the 3 year old at the daycare that still wears diapers! I work at a daycare too!

  1. well my first two were Portie trained at 1 my second 3 and my fourth 2 :) it wasn't hard either ;) make sure you sing the song while teaching them and make it very exciting :) don't ever get upset when they have an accident either that never helps:) the song is "pee pee in the Portie yeah" and just keep repeating it and clap ;)

  2. i think your child is showing an interest. try and introduce her to the potty.

about 2 - 3 but every child is different.

  3. A good age for potty training is usually 3 good luck!

  4. Normally children start to show signs at 18 months. Looks like you better invest in a potty seat! Goodluck!

  5. I'd would say anywhere between the ages of 2-3.

  6. I just started my daughter 3 weeks ago and she turned 2 in February, she caught on right away and is now fully trained...on the other hand my son was 3 before he was potty trained...dont pressure them that will turn them away..try it for a week or so and if they have no interest in it stop and try again a few weeks later! Good Luck

  7. when your child shows interest and is ready...three years old in a diaper is not a bad thing, and you're going to set your daughter up for failure not only in potty training but in life if you're already comparing her to other children, having to keep up with all the other kids in daycare, who cares if she is the only one in diapers, doesnt she have her own identity?  i mean three year olds arent going to make fun of her for still being in diapers at three years old. both my children were in diapers at three.  my son is still being potty trained and he is four and a half, i dont rush him and id never compare him to other children, when he's ready, he's ready and he's almost fully trained now.  my daughter was three and a half and took a week until she was potty trained and she was fully trained. dont compare your child to others, she has no obligation to keep up with other kids

  8. I started potty training my baby about 6 months after she started walking...she was using the potty by 2.

    Good Luck.

  9. i think at the age of two they should know how to got to the bathroom but its ok to leave the diaper on just in case of an axident

  10. I say start asap if the child is trying 2 potty and that's as soon as he/she tries 2 interact w/ you!!!!!!! good luck :)
