my daughter has a 16 week old female kitten what is a good age to have her "fixed"?

6 months is when my vet takes mine. He won't before.

4-5 months is recommended by most vets.  I've always done it as soon as I can, its easier for the younger pets to recover more quickly.

The Humane Society of NE spays all cats, starting at age 2 months.  You can have her spayed prior to 4 - 5 months.  Better too early than too late.

I wouldnt spay her until 6months..but dont wait much too long after that its best to schedule her appt now for that age of six months
