Age doesn't really matterthough. I think as long as you are older than 2 and younger than 45, you can and should try skating. It's fun and hard.

SOME  SMART  BOYS  WHO'S  AGE  IS  ONLY  8  YEARS  OLD  CAN  SKATE  VERY  NICELY  BECAUSE  THEY  ARE  VERY  FLEXIBLE  AT  THIS  AGE

BUT  THERE  IS  NO  AGE  LIMIT  2 LEARN ANYTHING

Any age really. Just make sure you could learn fast if you want to be good if youre older.

I know like more than 10 30+ guys that have kids and just started skating.

13 thats when i started now im 15 but they always say the younger the better cuz you get more experience

Any age, the younger the better actually because you rid any fears people usually get when just starting in teenage years, start early, and you'll be glad you did.  Everything will be pretty fluid.
