  1. Okay look you are at the perfect age. If anything I might say a little old. Start auditioning now but stay out of Disney Channel, Nick, things like that. All those stars eventually disappear. I am an actress and I'm 12. I plan on attending Interlochen each summer and going there for high school, meanwhile auditioning for every thing I get the opportunity to. Out of every 100 auditions you might get 10 callbacks and out of every 20 callbacks maybe one job. Start now. Commercials are good to get into as well. Start building and making resumes, head shots, and sending them into agencies. For college I plan on going to Juilliard. Good luck!

By the way there's certain skills that help, like singing and dancing and instruments. Take lessons in all that plus acting and you should do well.  =)

  2. Age doesn't matter.

Whenever you feel that you're ready.

    It is all about talent.

    There's no difference in age.

A 30 year old isn't exactly more talented than a 10 year old.

  3. 5 years old

  4. Your on a long hard road but if this is really what you want there'ss things you can do now to start things up. If you can find auditions and get your parents to bring you thats fine. Also get experience by participating in local plays. Most places have a drama program in their school or community. Get information and try out. If you dont get a part you want dont be upset. Learn everything you can from the experience because thats whats really valuable. The better you get you can try out for more prestigious shows.

You could also go to acting or modeling classes. They cost money and can get expensive. You dont need them but they can be good because your learning how to act infront of a camera. Most stars arent born overnight. These places can also hook you up with auditions for various things. Some host modeling competitions where you have to payto enter and if you win (there are usually several winners) you dont have to pay anything from the service and they hook you up with auditions. Even if you dont win they can give you infromation about what you do well and what you need to work on. Modeling and acting arent the same but there is alot thats similar. My sister did a competition. It was like 100 bucks to do it. She get really close to winning but still had some things to work on. Shes going to try again in a couple years when shes improved.

Your young though. Dont forget to be a kid! You have your whole life to "make it"!

Hope things work out for you!

  5. start when ever you're ready. remember though, you may have to move and you wont be able to see you're friends. remember what you're getting into. and try not to be the next Britney spears.

try doing local theatre and classes for now, then get you're headshots done. mail out you're resume and headshots to agents and they will find you the big jobs

    good luck!

  6. Definitely audition now.

If you persue acting now, you'll have a great chance of becoming an actress.

If you wait till your older, you'd still have a chance. But it's better to start acting before college/university that way you could learn about it in school and maybe even get into Julliard or even get a scholarship.

  7. 14...you can go far if you really buckle down now, do well in school, audition for places in summer acting school and this will give you good avenues to enter higher level acting when ur older.
