The renuzit plug in with 3 scents is a great plug in.

Baking soda on the carpet then vacuum.  Keep in mind it takes a while to clean up, because it will make a lot of dust. You can do that to fabric furniture as well.

Fabreeze is a quick way to knock down some odors.  It drys fairly quickly.

Lysol sprays on stinky objects - shoes, trashcan.

Fresh air, opening windows helps a lot. even if it is just at night.

Empty your trash often, before its full and smelly.
