What is a good amount of time to rent a waverunner for?

I am planning to take my girlfriend out on a waverunner for her birthday, and need to decide whether to reserve one or two hours. I'm not sure whether 1 hour will be enough or whether it will become boring after about an hour (I've never been before.) I would appreciate any opinions from people who have use waverunners.

one hour will b more than sufficient. but if 2 b on d safer side, take permission from d owner abt 2 hrs ride in advance stating him d proper reason. so if 1 hr is not enough 4 u , than keep it doing it 4 another 1 hr. and pay accordingly.
