What is a good and active scientific forum?

Question

Science really is my passion and later in life I would like to pursue a career in it. I'm currently taking the max amount of science classes a student is allowed to take at my school, but the pace is pretty slow and I am a curious person. I'm looking for a forum which discusses fundamental issues to obscure aspects of science in general, preferably with a nice community. Does anyone have a suggestion?
