  1. www.cross-pollinate.com

    Nice B&Bs on here.

  2. the hostel alessandro was cool and cheap, stayed there 3 years ago.  there are 2 locations right around the termini station so its not to far out or too far away

  3. I went to Italy about 3 years ago and there is a small hotel in Rome called "Hotel Bramante." The rates were relatively low, it had an excellent location nearby lots of great restaurants and tourist spots, and the staff at the hotel were very, very friendly. The rooms are expected to be small unless you're willing to pay a lot, but the rooms there were clean & comfortable for its size. I'm not sure how exactly to find information on it or if they have a website, but you should definetley try finding it and atleast looking into it - it was a great.

  4. try this site http://www.sleepinrome.it

if you want to rent an appartament, you can spend around 100 euro a day

  5. I stayed at the Atlantico Hotel in Rome and LOVED it!

I was just there last week and would highly recommend this hotel.

It was super convenient to the train stations so I just took the train directly from the airport to the hotel. From the train station it was literally maybe a 5 minute walk. And its also right by the Termini station so you can easily get to all the touristy spots. And its in walking distance to the colosseum (although its maybe a 20 minute walk).

And the hotel itself is very nice. The room was suprisingly large (especially for a Eurpean hotel) and nice. It's no 5 star resort hotel like we are used to in the United States but by European standards it was great and th best hotel I stayed in Italy during my trip. And the breakfast in the mornings is great too.

This is the link to that hotel:

Its also connected to the Hotel Meditteraneo but I don't know how it is there...but I'll assume it's the same.
