Get a Mustang the newer the better. Great power, mileage, and performance. Plus the aftermarket for the Mustang is one of the biggest around.

It depends on if you fix it. older the better. but just in case try scion or maybe the new hondas. toyo supra is nice and around 12000 maybe a lil more(private seller only) toyo as good street racing cars.they are fast. also check out the new lancers. they are very fast.ive raced against a few.

You should be able to get a used Corvette for that.  Thats about what I paid for my 1998 Corvette a few years ago.  Its plenty fast and even gets decent fuel mileage.  Very fun to drive!
