What is a good anime for me?

Question

I'm looking for a new anime the only one ive watched before is naruto and i never really watched another one it does not have to be in english but if there is any english dubs tell me about them and i want something that's not to heavy or like really scary or anything and there i would like it 2 be more realistic just not really heavy and scary

Great Teacher Onizuka~ Great comedy, only if you don't mind mature content~ there's a Dub but I don't really know how it is~

Later, the story is further developed to look into the issues of the AT world when Akito and Agito appear.

ELFEN LIED

Lucy, a young and psychotic Diclonius, manages to break free of her confines and brutally murder most of the guards in the laboratory, only to get shot in the head as she makes her escape. She survives and manages to drift along to a beach, where two teenagers named Kouta and Yuka discovers her. Having lost her memories, she was named after the only thing that she can now say, "Nyuu," and the two allow her to stay at Kouta's home. However, it appears that the evil "Lucy" is not dead just yet...
