1.)hana yori dango- not really exactly at all like those above but really good.

The story is about, this girl who just wants to get through school unnoticed, she then ends up standing up to the most meanest, richest, cutest, popularist boys in the school for her good friend, eventually her friend abonndoneds her because she is scarred.

While the leader of the 4 mean boys decides to "declare war" on her, she decides not to back down no matter what.

Love intercedes, voilence is taken, this show just keeps you asking for more and more!

i suggest you watch the anime version first then the drama [real life]

theres a few bad things though

1. their subbed

2. the anime version was brought up in the 80's

3. the anime version and the drama isnt exactly the same

2.)Full metal alchemist.

WHen the main charactor and his brother were younger their mom died. THey tried to bring her back by using alchemy. WHen this fails, the main charactor ends up with hald a body and the brother ends up losing his whole body and having to be put in body armer where his soul still is.

Now all they are concentrated are trying to get there bodyies back.

Theres plenty of voilence, while they try hard to find what they are looking for, its really sad also.

3.) ayashi no ceres

While a girls family is set out to kill her because a forbidden spirit is trapped in her body and comes out every so often.The spirit trapped in her body is a magical lady who is also trying to kill her family and her twin brother. There is love between three of the main guys and her in the show. Its very sad as people die and get hurt throughout the series.

Some good animes that I've watched that are sort of like what you described are: Full Metal Alchemist, Kaze no Stigma, DN Angel, Rurouni Kenshin, D. Gray Man, Code Geass.
