I had a horse a couple of years ago have the same thing happen on his chest- a vet had to come and drain the swelling because that horse refused to move (so I understand draining it)- but the odd thing about this- is that the swelling started on one side- and now has moved to the other. It also happens to be over the lymph node area- but I don't think that this is strangles. It has been longer than 30 days since the first swelling formed (where an obvious wound mark occured)- and he doesn't seem to be lethargic or unable to eat- So I figured we should try a antibiotic. Anyone have any ideas?
