What is a good bar to have a bachelorette party in Houston?

I'm throwing my friend a bachelorette party in August in Houston. We want to go somewhere Downtown or in Midtown that is fun but not to expensive. We're already ruled out Sammy's (because we go there all the time) and RocBar (to expensive). I looked into Howl at the Moon, but they're really expensive to just reserve one table for 4 and the package doesn't include much. Help!!!! Any ideas would be a great help. And, any other ideas about what we could do for the party would be nice too. Thanks in advance.

  1. try www.citysearch.com it provides a variety of bussiness with reviews contact info and directions. hope this helps

  2. I'd start here:

    http://www.hotelzaza.com/houston/

and then basically club it for the night. There are great places all over why confine yourself to just one.

If you are in the exploring mood how about:

    or

I'm sorry to hear that you friend is taking herself off the market.  :-(

    Have fun..

  3. i have been to many bachlorette party's at the Cadillac bar off I-10 at i believe shepard.  they let you have a private room per say and the waiters "play" with the bride to be.  we always had a great time.  it is more like a Mexican restaurant than a bar per say so you could start the night here seeing as it is really close to downtown and then go to a club or something like that
