I have a Giant Sedona ST. It has mountain bike type tires on it. The are pretty nobby. I use it only on the street and I would like a good tire thats more flat and has little resistance. My current size tire is 26" X 1.95. I also want it to be good quality. I know nothing about bike tires. Thank you in advance

  1. If you plan on doing a little riding on dirt or loose surfaces once in a while I'd use the Kenda "small block 8". If you are only going on paved surfaces several makes offer what they refer to as "town and country" tires that will work well for you.

  2. You can find 'semi-slick' type of mt. bike tires from brands like Bontrager ( their REVOLT tires are recommended), IRC, Maxxis, Ritchey and Kenda ( I think the Kenda LITE will suit your specs).  Find 'em at PRICE POINT.com and BLUE SKY CYCLING  (blueskycycling.com).

  3. go to a bike shop in your area and get a slick no treak they are like drag racing tires they are most  less resistance you can get
