  1. Serious BOB,

    They mean a cycling computer.

You can get one with cadence for under $100.00, But it more that likely will not be wireless for that price.

This works with any of their series C computer and would be just under a $100.00 and wireless

  2. I have the Polar CS100, which does Speed, Distance, Cadence and also Heart Rate.  Wireless.  It regularly sells for around $100, but I see it on sale for under $100 pretty often.

I also take it running with me to keep track of my target heart rate for that too.

  3. There are lots of models to chose from. I have had many of them and they have all worked well and reliably. Go to your Local Bike Shop and select one that has the functions you need and a clear display. I've seen wireless units with wireless cadence on sale at Performance last weekend. Their website has one model that's wireless with wireless cadence for $90.

Be warned that sometimes a wireless HRM will interfere with a wireless cyclometer. What I've noticed is that it will occasionally register motion when the bike's standing still. That shouldn't be a problem during a tri, though.

  4. This one is pretty good
