  1. Green cheeked conures are good. Pretty quiet ushually too.

  2. when getting a new bird always decide what you want  in a bird and then pick according because they live rather a long time and you know you want it to be the right choice for you.because l could tell conure and that would be good for me but to noise for you. So do a lot of research before buying and ask a lot of questions like you are.

hope this sight helps and links you to more sights that help good luck

  3. After budgies and teils I got a quaker...then another...and another. I have 4 now, along with my budgies and tiels lol.

I absolutely adore my quakers, and not to downplay the qualities of my other birds, quakers just have such *personality*.

They are incredibly loud though when they want your attention, but of course 4 are a lot louder than 1 and I can't remember what the noise level was like when I only had 1.

Love quakers....couldn't imagine not having them now.

  4. If you have already owned tiels and budgies you can go up a little in difficulty if you're willing to deal with the noise most bring.  Green cheek or black cap conures are popular, and aren't too loud for a conure species.  There are also quakers, and parrotlets are good little guys as well.  You could also look into thepionus or caique but those guysmight be a little more difficult one because of size but also because the caique is a very very very active bird and requires a large cage as well as a large play stand to burn their energy on.

  5. i would really ask your avian vet this question. my vet has strongly suggested that I avoid a certain breed of female birds because of their massive problems with egg laying even when they are not with a mate. he has had to treat too many of them. he told me if I got one to get a male and to make sure it is a male. i will not say the name of the breed because a lot of people love them and i won't say anything bad.

    Best wishes! ~♥~

  6. Cherry Headed Conyer...They are great, little bit bigger than a cockteal...The young ones have bright red on their head, The rest of their feathers are green..as they get older there isn't as much red, it's still bright red, just less of it...

A fun bird, loves to get into stuff...

  7. I would have to say a Green cheek conure, sun conure, dusky conure, quaker or a Senagal

also there is a bird but i'm not sure on the speling.  Ciqueike.
