What is a good birthday gift for a 9 year old girl?

I would say a collector doll she can always have ,a keepsake box is a real winner ,she can keep her small important things in there,and there are many pretty ones  now a days.Or possibly a cute outfit?When i was 10 i got a birthstone necklace and to this day still have it.Just some thoughts.Best of Luck.

A diary.  9 is that awkward age, between little girl's playing with dolls and starting to hit the age when their bodies are changing and confusion hits.  A nice, locking diary is always a hit with girls that age.
