What is a good birthday party idea?

im a girl, my b-day is in the summer and i want good party. Pool Parties are old and i want something fun and cool. I am going to a new school next year so i want a big party with a bunch of freinds...please help

Ok.. I love the bubble idea.. flood a club with bubbles.... I saw balloons once... but it was loud and messy... bubbles = fun. LOL.. and all you stupid people.. duh.. NO ALCHOHOL.... she's like a teenager!!!!!!!! DUMBA55ES

What are some of your favorite things?  I really enjoy planning my kids, husband and parents parties.  Here are some of the ideas I've used: Willy Wonka party, tea parties, bratz fashion pixies party, monkey/jungle party, purple princess party, my moms birthday is in a few weeks we are having a sit down dinner and instead of cake we are having a candy bar.  She is a chocolate fanatic so  I'm planning on having lots of miniature Candy's, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate ice cream soda's.  You really can never go wrong with lots of food.  If you need some ideas I'd love to help.

dance club,or a movie theatre party.

Hollywood theme: Everyone dress up for a red carpet event. Rent a small hall or room. Have everyone wear white/black and you steal the show in red. Make it a dance. Buy a couple celebrity stand ups for pictures with your guests. Buy hollywood decorations at shindgiz, partycheap, hollywood megastore, etc. Have a DJ.

Bowling party with a group of friends.

Movie party at the Movies. Have a small group at an earlier cheaper matinee, you can ask for a group rate. Then to home and have pizzas or better yet make your own homemade pizzas with roll out pillsbury dough and then a sundae bar and your best girlfriends can stay the night.

Movie party at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell decorations for this at oriental trading. com and you can also find some movie stuff on the hollywood sites I mentioned above. Watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance if your have room.

Luau, beach Hawaii: Orientaltrading has the coolest decorations and favors for this theme and the cutest tropical invitation in the bottle. Give your guests leis as they come in. Play Limbo, Hula hoop, and have a few grass skirts and everyone (including the guys) have to give hulaing a try. Again if you have room to do this at home or you can rent a small room.

Candy theme: Pink tablecloths, pink and white balloons. Make candy bouquets for the tables with short wide mouth vase from the dollar store. Fill 1/3 with peppermint disks. Buy colorful lollipops and put in the vase. Make another one t he same but use candy sticks instead like cherry, lime, etc. You can attach bows to each one with a favor card that says your initial, 16 or thanks for coming to my sweet 16 and then after the party give them out as favors. Get personalized M and Ms to put in small favor bags. Get personalized hershey bar wrappers and little personalized stickers that go on the bottom of hershey's kisses. Buy plate size styrofoam 3 inch thick rounds and wrap in clear cellophane for a big hard candy decorations. you could put a wood dowel in one to make it a sucker. Play twister. For favors those candy necklaces, bracelets ands ring pops and candy lipsticks.

Hotel party. Rent a 2 rooms, 1 for boys and one for girls and have every swim and decorate one of the rooms a little bit as a theme you pick and of course parental supervision for this boy/girl party. You can dance in the room at night and bring a game system.

Neon theme:  Bright neon colors and glow in the dark items.  They have lights that go in balloons.  Go to windy city novelties and oriental trading and us toy company..

These are huge plastic murals that make your theme looks so real. We have used these and love them and so cheap. You buy backgrounds and can add things to them.
