  1. 320kbps is the best ithink thts the highest.....

  2. The highest you can get. If you're talking about mp3's I recommend at least 320

An mp3 will never come close to hi definition. Not possiblle because the music has been reformmatted to take away quality to compact the file. I disagree with the guy below me- benny- you can tell a huge difference between 320 and 192, but that's my ears. Yours his and mine are different so check.

  3. Okay bitrate im sure you know all goes by these rules. The higher the bitrate the higher the quality, the lower the quality the lower the bitrate. So whats the best bit rate? Well depends on what file type your using, generally .mp3 files is the most widely supported and know to work on most musical things, but anything below 128kbps will sound like c**p on your ears, personally... if u got some decent headphones. i recommend you rip at 192kbps if u want decent quality songs, now if a song u have is 128 then its not necessarily "Bad", you probably wont tell the difference, but theres no need to go up to 320 i'd say. There are other file types such as AAC which can store more quality is littler space (a 128 AAC file is about the same as a 192 mp3) but AAC isnt supported by alot of things, mostly only works on ipods. De nada!

ps. and dont even try to get to hidef, if u mean bluray quality, its so much better through that its not even funny how big the audio file probably is.
