  11. I would say Monopoly, but for a first grader,....... I guess something like Candyland, Trouble, or Scrabble.

  12. Chutes and Ladders. It teaches children how to accept failure and regroup to climb the corporate ladder! LOL Think about it!

  14. Uno. It was my son's favorite. He liked to win so much he even cheated with me and I never  knew it. My wife had to tell me.

  15. Something with not alot of pieces, but something that is imaginative and educational is good :)

    try trouble, or sorry, or if he (or she) has a really long attention span and can comprehend logic, then clue jr. would be good

  19. Checkers, or an african version played with pebbles called Mancala - but I am a big fan of the game "uno" its a card game.

    Kids love it - even adult ones - good family time
