What is a good book to learn PHP?

I am following an online book and some online tutorials but I am finding PHP hard to understand! Is it normal? I am 47 and want to become a PHP professional next year so I am starting to worry about that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I had no IT experience before I started that.

Here are two great links that were most useful for me, on my journey to try and understand PHP myself.

What they are different from other sites,

they dont bore you with technical details, but rather jump in doing it practically together with you on video.

A little more advanced, but is also targeting the beginner class like us.
