  1. I like CONAIR, b/c they are decently priced..

Just make sure you get one that has an automatic shut off and doesn't heat up too much..

you'll regret the iron burns you'll get!!! lol

  2. Hot Tools are the best, and not very expensive.

  3. None better to roller set your hair when its damp

  4. Conairs all seem to work well.

But honest to goodness, I curl my hair with my straightener.  I have a 1", and if you do it right, they come out better and more natural, and you have so much more control over it. Plus it's just easier.  What you do is when you start to straighen it, just twist it inwards 1 rotation, so say the logo is on the top, twist it so it's on the bottom, and pull down.

Look it up on Youtube, just type in something like "curling hair with straightener" and it should come up.  I'll add a few links...

  5. My Conair curling iron works pretty well!

I'm pretty sure any brnad would work, but the technique is what matters the most. but my curling iron is Conair Instant Heat

  6. Hot Tools is my favorite brand. Sally Beauty Supplies carries this brand and they aren't as pricey as you might think. It will cost you a little more than a curling iron from Wal-Mart but the end result is well worth paying a little extra cash. Most professional hair stylists use the Hot Tools brand and every student at my cosmetology school uses them as well.
