  1. i've been using playtex drop-ins (because of all the plastic controversy with avent and normal playtex bottles) and my daughter's taken to them really well.

  2. if she truly is having trouble, it could just be the nipple. depending on the age of a baby, some nipples have more and/or larger holes in them. be careful that she doesn't get too much. that can cause choking. i would play it safe and ask the pediatrician before making any changes. good luck to you.

  3. we use the nuk kind along with the nuk paci cause that's what my mom suggested due to the fact that's what she used with my siblings. we had tried just normal bottles but he refused them. and we were given a set of the nuk took one out and tried it and that's all he will take

  4. i used avent they have special nipples for just about every age.  plus, when she is ready they have a nipple for soft foods... if she doesn't take to a spoon very well.  and they are also great for preventing gas.  I LOVE THEM!!  good luck!

  5. I use Playtex Ventaire Advanced.

They work great, there's no nipple collapse and she is alot less gassy.

Or, you can try Dr. Brown's, too.

  6. I use the ventair standard bottles.  But my son has been bottle fed from day 1.  Get the smaller bottles not the tall ones.  That tall bottles have a bigger hole in the nipple. Did you try to breastfeed her at first? If so, try a wider nipple...ventair wide...thats for babies transitioning..it gives it the affect of it being a boob.  But I have never had a problem with the ventair ones.  Is she doing funny things with her mouth that is making you think she is having a hard time? My son did that for the longest time.. it just might take her a little longer to get the idea of how to suck.  And at 2 months my son was taking like an hour to finish a bottle. Took him forever! It drove me crazy. Wasnt until a little later that he started eating faster.  I think she is okay.  I think she is just still learning and taking her time.  As long as shes gaining weight and happy then I wouldnt worry.

  7. You have to go through trial and error.  I was lucky and my daughter took to the first bottle she was given.  What kind of pacifier (if any) does your baby use?  Alot of makers of pacifiers make bottles with the same nipple so that could be helpful.  I know that Nuk and Soothie do and some others may as well.

  8. I use Dr Brown's and my baby hasn't had any issues with gas or spit up-but it all depends on your baby-maybe try some different brands

  9. i really like the Avent Botlles. My daughter has been using them since she was born and i never had a problem with them, They are so easy to clean and to scoop her formula in because they are wide
