What is a good but extremely cheap snowboard?

I don't want to spend over 100 dollars. I'm fine looking on ebay for it but I want to know the brands that will last longest and be fun to ride. I'm a novice at snowboarding but I ski and I learn very fast on snow.

  1. Hate to burst your bubble. but I really doubt you could get a GOOD one for <$100. Just buy one youre sure is good. You get what you pay for.

  2. I think that looking for a board that cheap you won't find anything that's actually "good" just ridable.  Try looking at end of season sales or buying one that's used.  Contact some rental shops and see if they sell off any boards at the end of the season and then you could get one that's used and well maintained.

For $100 though you won't get anything too great and you would probably be best off saving up a few more bucks and buying one further down the road.

  3. if you get an older model salomn has boards for 150 thats what i got my board for other than the sales good luck finding and "good" board that cheap

  4. Check on Ebay for the seller Zboardshop...lots of quality for a fraction of the price....I'd personally go with M3...or watch on ebay for Chorus snowboards...they retail for around $389 and are going on ebay for under a $100 ...its the steal of the month!!

  5. You can find a lower quality board (Lamar, 5150, etc) at Big 5 for around $100 if you look for a sale or a clearance.

Better than that, wait until end of season sales or especially pre-season clearances of past year models and you will usually be able to find them. I purchased a Ride Impact for my kids last year for under $50 (new with some scratches) at a summer clearance sale.

Best for all-mountain, learning, and durability: Ride, K2, Burton

    Good Luck
