Download the free version of Superantispyware.  http://www.superantispyware.com  Update and run and in depth scan.  Free you must update daily on a manual basis or purchase and get auto. updates.  Will find viruses, spyware, adware, worms, keyloggers, etc. etc. with no conflict to your own antivirus.

AVG is the best free virus software I have used. You can get it at http://www.downloads.com then type in AVG and it will bring it up. Its actually caught TONS of issues other programs coudln't spot :)

Since NONE of the anti-spyware/anti-adware programs are 100% accurate in finding and removing spyware, you need at least two programs which you will run one after the other, not at the same time.

There are three excellent free ones:

--Spybot, Search and Destroy

--Ad-Aware

--Spyware Blaster

All are available FREE from www.download.com

You will need to download, install, update (and IMMUNIZE in Spybot) and run them, one at a time. Be careful with the NAME of these programs - there are "look-alikes" with very similar names, that are in fact spyware themselves! Reboot after you install each one!

I would recommend getting the ZoneAlarm firewall for just protection from any further damage. If you are wanting to get rid of any spyware, I would suggest Spybot Search and Destroy. This works extremely well. I would also recommend getting Avira AntiVir for virus protection. For even more protection you should get Adaware. All these can be found at www.downloads.com.  Hoped this helped.

personally i don't use that kind of software but have used spyblaster pro and was very pleased with it
