My favorite inexpensive digital camera is the Canon A590 IS.

It's a good quality camera, with good features, and many manual exposure controls not available in similar cameras in the same class:

Well I have a Kodak Z812 IS and It cost about $200 on sale + $50 3 year warranty + $40 battery and charger it cost about $300 but its a great camera!!
