  1. Hmmm, a good car for teens is a Ford Focus, but unless you can find one from 2004 or newer, I wouldn't bother.  The 04 and 05 model years had terrific improvements in several design factors and safety factors.

The best thing is that they have a 5 yr / 100,000 mile powertrain / transferrable warranty :-), and a 5 star crash safety rating.

They are sporty looking cars, have lots of pep, and they are easy on the pocketbook :-).

  2. Right now you want an economical vehicle for the best gas mileage.  I see allot of Kia's out there or you might like the looks of a Toyota Camry or the Ford Focus.  There are allot of different styles and models of cars to choose from, but without a doubt you need to get a car that will give you good gas mileage and has a reputation for having a good safety record in the event of an accident.

  3. Trust me, get a beater so you can learn on it.  You don't want to wind up s******g up a 7000 dollar car.

  4. Nissan 300ZXs or 240SXs

Toyota Celicas are not too bad too

If you can get a hold of a Supra.....ahhhh that would be very nice ;)

  5. Choice one of them

  6. Acura CL

    Ford Mustang V6

    Honda Accord or Civic

    Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder

    Subaru Impreza or Legacy

    Toyota Corolla or Echo

  7. well, you can probably get a decent looking car with $7000. All the good looking ones that sell for $7000 either have something wrong with them (ie. the title of the car says salvaged or it as a ton of miles even though its only a couple years old)

Get some decent looking for now and get a good looking car later. That way, you can drive it after you have several years of driving experience and your insurance rate will be lower then.

  8. The Junkiest one possible in case they wreck it ( usually the case ) and especially if mom, dad or both parents are paying for it.  If the teen is paying for it completely including insurance and own vehicle taxes, transfer costs and own gas and has a top notch job ( which I doubt ) then it should still be junky in case the teen wrecks it.  Usually they'll wreck it.  I drove junk as a teenager and I wouldn't expect any other teen, no matter what generation, to be driving better than I had to drive.  Besides driving junk is a character building expeience in a teen's life.

Junk and nothing but ...... because usually they'll wreck it!!

  9. SCION XA or XB.

  10. how about you stop yelling at people about not giving good suggestions. 7000 isnt gonna get you an amazing looking car. what dont you get ?
