  1. a used VW beatle...

  2. The Chevy Impala is not a bad car. I think even a good one used is a deal. I have driven one for work that was going strong at 87,000 miles and was great in all types of weather.

I also like the Ford Tarus which was very durable and handled well. I drove that one for work and it was a peach of a car.

My answers are totally based on driving nearly 30,000 miles a year for work.

I do not like cars that are small and have no sturdiness like the Prism and KIA which seemed like a tin can. Didn't like it.

  3. Honda Accord, Pontiac Grand Am, Dodge Avenger, Chevy Cavalier, Oldsmobile Alero, etc.

  4. 1990 Geo Storm -$1,000  35MPG no problems in 1 year

  5. acura integra 1998

  6. Just look at the used cars. There is nothing wrong with a good used car.

  7. Yeah Honda, always hear people say they "they last forever"

I personally see more early model Honda's then any other maker. That must verify a little bit of there quality. There probably easy to get worked on. ?

  8. You really can't go wrong with a Civic. But, since the Civic has an amazing resale value, don't expect anything newer than a 2003. I would recommend a 2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe.

Market Value is around $8,000 for a 2001 EX Coupe

    or....

If you want something a little more unique, the Toyota Celica is a good choice. With more sporty styling, this car tends to look cooler than the Civic. Even though it looks cooler, the price will be less because the resale value is not as good.

You can most likely find a 2003 in your budget.

Real Market Value is around $9,995 for the GT Model

  10. Honda civic hatchbacks are good, and so are BMWs.

  11. you wont find many new cars like you dexcribed for under 10k, so you'll probly have to buy a used one. honda civics, toyota carollas and camrys would all be a good choice.

  12. Toyota Yaris

  13. Toyota Yaris, it gets 40 mpg, and looks good. You could buy one used, but new they are only 11 thousand.
