I love to learn about other cultures in the world and to learn new languages. I also like to study nature (animals included). Salary isn't incredibly important. I want to travel to another country. Does anyone know of any careers that fit this description or what field I should go into in college? I am willing to work hard and study no matter how long it takes.

  1. Two different fields come to mind: anthropology (fitting your love of different cultures) and ecology (opportunities to study nature).

  2. I had a friend who had similar interests in college and she majored in Socialogy and got a minor in French. With the minor in French she was able to join the study abroad program and she did a year of school in Paris.  You could also do Geology or Geography if you want to learn more about the Earth and weather patterns.I hope this helped Goodluck!!!

  3. Get a Phd in any area, and work for an University as a Professor, these people travel a lot (conferences, workshops, symposiums, and the like). I would recommend Biology, biologists travel a lot, and if you like new languages just try to do a post-doctoral research in another country.

  4. Join the Navy, see the world, learn new things.
