What is a good carmera for taking pitchures if insects?

A 35mm with a macro lens.

Many many cameras can do this. I don't know what your budget is. If you are looking point and shoot look for a camera with a macro mode. It may be a pictogram of a tulip where you set the camera mode. Some DSLR also have a programed mode for macro .

If you have money to do it right get a DSLR with a macro lens. This will give you the best results

most cameras take photographs, or informally, "pictures."

And pretty much all of them can.  If you can't spell it, I'm not sure I want to launch into a long explanation of lenses...
