Umm gift cards are always appreciated, maybe one for $15 to Itunes if he likes music or Jamba Juice? Maybe you could get him a CD if you know what kind of music he likes, they're usually about $10. Oh, and at Borders, they have these little office toy thingies for about $6-$7 and they're really cute, Idk if he'll like it though. If the boy has a car or something, you can get something for that.

~ depending how close you are to some type of Amusement park,,,all day tickets would be great,,,,,also if he has an Ipod, how about gift card to download his fav songs......and I will say that good ol Cash is not to shabby for a 16 year old......guys love to have cash.........
