  1. in my opinion its a better idea to buy the best canon powershot sx110 digital camera

i really like it very much and i assume that its photo quality is really wonderful

  2. Don’t buy it at any of these rip-off scam sites that are owned by George Sabato:

    www.bestpricecameras.com

    www.photodynasty.com

    www.beststopcamera.com

    www.citywidedigital.com

    www.eastcoastdistributor.com

    www.hellocamera.com

    www.infiniticameras.com

    www.infinitiphoto.com

    www.infinitycameras.com

    www.jandkcameras.com

    www.mraccessory.com

    www.razzphoto.com

    www.regencycamera.com

Check out how many Better Business Bureau complaints there are (1000+).  He keeps changing names to avoid ripped-off customers and to trick new customers.

  3. Are you interested in getting a digital or 35mm?

The cheapest DSLR's are the Canon Rebel XT, Nikon D40, Olympus E-400, and Sony A100.

If you can not afford to get a DSLR, then get a 35mm SLR. Try the Canon K2. You may also want to try looking for a used one in the classified ads or on craigslist.org

  4. Do you want a DSLR (digital)? If so, Nikon D40 from http://www.ritzcamera.com is a good, inexpensive, high end quality camera.

  5. I 2nd the Sony Alpha. I have the A-100 awsome camera!

  6. You can find good used 35 mm SLR's for under $200 with lens ... some for between $50 and $150.

Check on craigslist in a city near you.

The 28-80 mm lens is perfect for most news shots ... you may want to find a good used 80-200 mm nikon lens for shooting sports.

I was a staff photographer for two years while in school and used four lenses ... 20 mm, 55 mm macro, 105 mm and 80-200 mm zoom mounted on an old Nikon F2.

If you meant to say DSLR, then the most bang for the buck is the Nikon D40 with 18-55 mm lens for under $450 on Amazon

If you even think you will be continuing in photography after high school, stick with either Nikon or Canon cameras ... they are what the news, editorial and sports photographers use.  At this time there is no good reason to start using one camera system, just to have to change to another if you go pro.

  7. I recommend Sony alpha DSLR-A200K SLR Digital Camera Kit w/ 18-70mm Lens

The lowest price for then is $485.
