Hello

I am going to take my drivers test next week and I think I am going to pass. But me having a drivers license means buying a car. Now there are tons and tons of cars out there that have many ups and downs.

I am looking for a car that is luxurious, good mileage, a 1990-1995 Mercedes-Benz 300/E-Class style, and I have a $500~$2000 budget. I dont care if its old, I actually like old classic cars.

Please provide me with the company, year, and type of the car.

(EX: Infiniti, 1994, J30)

Cheers!

  1. luxury and good gas mileage rarely go together.

  2. The best car for you is an MG Midget or an MGB. Look for years from early 60's to late 70's. Some of the 70 ones however have ugly bumbers

You can buy one driving and decent condition for under 2 thousand. Both are convertible 2 seats. The MGB is just bigger. Awesome cars Both will get over 25 MPG

A newer option is a MAZDA MX-5 Miata. You can get a 1991 or 1992 for about 2000 in good shape. Mine gets up to 30 MPG.
