  1. For Kids:

    Sunscreen

Bottled Water (if the park allows it)

    Snacks

Change of clothes/underwear (in case they get wet on rides)

    Sweatshirt (for nighttime)

    Hats (to protect from sun)

(If small kids) - Arm Leashes (to avoid being grabbed or lost)

    Strollers

    For Adults:

    Sunscreen

    Advil/Tylenol

    Bottled Water

    Wallets/Money/Credit Cards

    f***y Pack or small purse

    Sweatshirts

Tickets to where you are going (if prepaid)

    Change for meters or lockers

  2. Make sure you bring like a drawstringbackpack or small backpack or something comfortable to carry things in.

    sunscreen

    40-50$

extra socks if you wore tennishoes.

    an extra tshirt.

bathing suit(if water park is open)

    extra clothes.(shirt,shorts etc)

    =)

  3. sunscreen

    cell phone

    extra clothes

    sunglasses

    money

plastic bag (so things dont get wet)

    sweatshirt

    tennis shoes

    flip flops (for water ride)

thats more than i would bring but i tried to think of everything

  4. Everyones answers are good.... the only things I can add are gum and chapstick.... I like to chew gum (keeps you from getting as thirsty) and they usually don't sell it at parks and my lips always get chapped riding rollercoaster and if it is breezy out.

  5. All of the above, plus I wear a hair tie around my wrist (nobody's hair looks cute after a long day on thrill rides LOL).

I always eat a big breakfast before I hop in the car, and a snack on the way, that way by the time I get there, it's in my system and I can ride for hours without getting hungry. This also helps because you won't spend a fortune on amusement park food.

I learned the hard way to wear sunblock and comfortable shoes, so I cannot stress that enough.

  6. How about looking at a map before you get to the park so you can check out rides you will hit.

Determine when you will eat ahead of time.

    Bring sun lotion.

Bring extra towels, swim trunks, deodarant, underwear, socks, extra shirts, a bag, and some other stuff if you are going to go in the waterpark.

If you are bigger, bring extra underwear, or shorts if you go on one water ride, and you just can't take it anymore. It's good to change into dry stuff.

The other stuff is kind of obvious.

  7. Sunscreen

    Money

    Cellphone

    Extra Clothes

    Credit Card

    Yourself

    Friends

    Family

  8. Go on all the rides before you leave and have fun =)

  9. Someone who is planning ahead I LOVE it.

most important thing the tickets/passes cant get in without them.

    other important things

CLOTHES attention to detail is needed!

guys dont wear your baggy pants to amusement parks. One no one wants to see your boxers and two u cant walk straight.

ladies avoid the tank tops, short skirts, and avoid a white top and white bra if water rides will be involved. Nothing is funnier then my 3 yr old telling me daddy look boobies.

****WEAR PANTS/SHORTS WITH A POCKET IN BACK THAT BUTTONS/LOCKS/SNAPS/DEADBOLTS,ETC. THIS WILL SAVE EVERYTHING IF YOU HAVE TO CARRY IT********

Wear comfy shoes some rides you will have to wait on.

    extra clothes

Weather can change drastically in a few hours. If it pours you dont want to wear the same damp clothes and shoes and socks.

Quarterback pouch(sounds cooler) also known as a f***y pack. Avoid the big  or little bags here. You can fit all the stuff you need in here and save for lugging a bag all day and the f***y pack is safely secured on ALL rides. If you ride a water ride put the stuff in your f***y pack in a zip lock. Ive seen people not be able to get into their cars b/c they alarm wouldnt go off b/c the remote was water logged.

    Sunscreen

Put this on before you leave the car! Nothing is worse then having a great day but the next day you look like Mr. Koolaid b/c u didnt wear sunscreen. Also you dont have to worry about skin cancer.

    Waterpark

    Bring a DH

The DH is the designated holder who watchs all the stuff while people ride the water rides saving you money from a locker.

This person usually is afraid of water rides or loves to tan. Whenever i bring a DH i make sure they come in for free with a free pass.

Sunglasses should be avoided but if really need them make sure they are cheap and can fit in the back pocket of your pants. Buy them from the nearest dollar store if your worried about them being lost or broken. Who cares if they arent Gucci..... they all work the same!

Jackets/hoodies should be in the car for the night time. You dont want a winter coat yet you dont want a sweater vest. Thats why i recommend hoodies. Even if it gets to hot you can sling it over your shoulder and its not as bulky as the average jacket.

Asprin should be brought on a need basis. If you will be riding a bobble head ride. You need it. Bobble head rides are ones you know your head is going to be bouncing like a bobble head doll.

    My avoid list

Cell phones.... yes i said cell phones

We survived 1000s of years as humans without them. Plan ahead and set up spots where everyone will know you will meet there. This could be after one ride or after a set time. Communication is key

    Money

Avoid taking money in at all costs. Everything is made to look appealing at amusement parks. The games are set up to appear easier then they are. Im sure the six foot s****. is appealing but if you spend 100 dollars to win him did u really win him or buy him? The only thing that is essential is water which is free at any water fountain. If you truely have your heart set on it go back to the car and get some $$$.

PLANNING FOR THE PARK NON ITEMS

Plan who will drive the day of.

Pack the car the day before with items that will be going with.

Check to make sure you have tickets

Plan the first 3 rides you will ride when you get there at OPENING time. Usually this is the most popular ride and the 2 closest big rides to it. Sometimes its the popular rides way in the back of the park.

Plan an estimated break time. When your not rested every ride seems like 4 hours. This is a good time to bring the money in if you need sourvenirs.

Power Hour... is the last hour the park is open. This is the time you hit all the big rides you havent hit and hurry your party from ride to ride. For anyone six flags great american fans(gurnee 6 flags) This is when I ride american eagle iron wolf v2 and superman. If you plan ahead like this you can ride ALL the rides.

Remember plan ahead and enjoy your day!
