  1. boones farm!  Kidding!  There's a brand, Frutezia (sp?) that makes a decent blackberry merlot.  I know it's red and you aren't fond of red--but neither am I and I really like it.  Sutter Home makes a nice white merlot as well--it's a blush.

Aimee B is talking about 2 Buck Chuck.  I've heard good things about it, but never tried it.  I'm a sweeter white person myself (reisling, gwertztraminer, rhinewine, white merlot) and the do drier like chardonnay, pino grigio and a line of reds.  I'd be willing to try though!

  2. Boone's Farm is absolutely disgusting....

If you're looking for a good quality, inexpensive wine, I recommend Yellow Tail. I routinely drink it! :)

  3. Boone's Farm and the boxed wines if you really want to keep it real as a college student. As one myself, I find that Boone's really lightens the mood and tastes good too. Plus, at about $2.00 a bottle it's affordable.

  4. Any of the stuff in the Boxes..

  5. boxed wine called franzia! so many flavors and it is quite good. where im from we actually play a huge game with them cause they are so cheap, its called "tour de franzia". its where a bunch of college kids get in teams of 5 and there are like 10 teams and tehy get on thier bikes and go to designated houses that have boxes of franzia waiting for them at the house with thier team name on it, the team has to finish the box of wine before they can leave the house, then they get on thier bike and ride to the next house and so on. each team has to make a total of 5 stops, at 5 houses, drink 5 boxes of wine between 5 guys/girls...lets just say im undefeated. hahaha!

  6. If you have a Trader Joe's near by, they have $1.99 bottles of wine that are actually pretty good, according to my wine loving brother. People buy them by the case!
