I am thinking of getting fish for my students but I am wondering how hard they will be to take care of...any thoughts? I have had rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. and they are all too hard to take care of. Any suggestions?

  1. a bird and the kids take home every weekend or a ferret

  2. I had a teacher that had a corn snake back in elementary.

Everyone in the class loved him and at recess they would hold him.

    Snakes are very interesting animals.

  3. Fishes in a small tank aren't that hard. :) How about about a frog, turtle, lizard, or cockroachs? (my science teacher had them! She also had a rat...but it bit one of the students :(    ) Bugs are good. Try this website for morre ideas.

  4. I'd also recommend hermit crabs. You'll need to make the habitat just right for them but otherwise they are pretty easy to care for.

  5. Have a cute little turtle
