  1. a mixture of wholegrain, vegetables, fruit, lean meat, oily fish, dairy and nuts and seeds.

    1 pint of milk a day

    3 portions of whole grain

    5 - 10 portions fruit and veg

    and not too much meat

    red meat once a month

    lots of spinach and broccoli for iron

    and of course 8 glasses of water
