What is a good digital camera for me?

Okay, :)

-I would like it not to be like, 8 zillion dollars but not cheap either...

-I would like it to not distort the pictures [so like a 50mm lens would be good]

-I would like it to be able to bring out details in things [freckles, eyelashes, etc.]

-I would like it to be pretty easy to use, [but if not I can figure things out okay so it's fine] and slim enough to carry around with me.

-I would like it to not do things like mess up colors. Like make someones teeth look yellow or anything like that. :)

Sorry if I sound picky, thanks in advance!

  1. So You're Referring To A SLR Camera...??

well, you didn't specify a budget, but let's assume you could afford a nice one, you said it yourself, you don't want anything that's ' cheap '. And since DSLR aren't cheap to start with, it shouldn't be that hard to choose one for you.

that's a very popular camera, it's the nikon d80 digital single lens reflex camera, or DSLR ( for short ). It has alot of features such a a 2.5 inch screen, ten megapixels, and status l.c.d screen, and much more you can do with this camera. And you will definitely be able to re-create alot of details in your images. It's no ' cheap ' camera *-*.

it's under 750$, body only, and i suggest you get a 50mm f/1.8 lens, or a 55-200mm VR lens,  those are the two i'd mainly suggest. The first one is under 120$, and the second one is under 4 and a half.  The 50mm f/1.8 lens is a great one, you could also get the 18-135mm lens too, but just don't get the 18-55mm lens, it's really amateur and disgusting.

However, if your budget is a little tighter, you should consider getting the nikon d60, d50, d40, d40x, but if you could afford a little more, you could get the nikon d300
