  1. Well there are some little dogs but if you want a medium sized one, I would go with a poodle.  They come in lots of sizes and colors

  2. a lab or if you can find one a border collie lab mix with short hair they are great!

  3. One of those robot dogs that runs on batteries. Every live dog sheds, some more than others. They all p**p and pee, too. Sometimes they barf, l**k themselves in gross places. Dogs do gross things. On the other hand, they are great pals to play with. You have to accept the bad with the good.

  4. ShihTzu's !!!  They're wonderful !

  5. A miniature poodle.

Most dogs shed, but not poodles.

  6. All dogs shed, thats the hard truth of it.

Some shed in very noticeable amounts, others in smaller amounts.

If you want an active dog that meets those qualities, a Border Collie or Australian Shepherd meet all of those qualities, and with proper grooming, they will keep their shedding to a minimum.

  7. A Labrador they love to swim and play, they also dont shed :) good luck

  8. All dogs shed...even hairless ones.

The poodle is very energetic, and also sheds little. Great dogs, very intellegent and willing to please.

  9. A Labrador Retriever! :)

  10. Hey, if you want a Poodle that`s your Business.

  11. All dogs shed...Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers are wonderful dogs that like all activities from hiking to swimming and they are great with kids and gentle. Good Luck

  12. I have a wheaten terrier/ Mini Schnauzer cross. She's 3 years old and still has a TON of energy. She doesn't shed AT ALL! She's extremely playful and I run long distance with her almost every day. She loves it. She also loves the water and will swim for hours at a time if I let her, chasing sticks through the water. She loves fetch to with anything from frisbees and balls to sticks. My friend also has a wheaten terrier and she also runs with her dog daily.

I would definitely recommend a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier or a Schnauzer. Both are full of energy and don't shed.

A Portuguese Water dog is also a great choice, though I've never met one.

  13. alll dogs shed.  I would say golden retriever or labrador retriever but they shed.  Don't buy into the hypoallergenic dog bs such as schnoodle or labradoodle...

  14. Every single dog sheds. Some shed a ton, and some seem to barely shed. The so-called "shedless" breeds still shed, but they usually shed a tiny bit all year long, and quite often the shedded fur will remain in the coat until you brush it out.

As far as swimming, playing fetch, catching frisbees, and being a good running partner, that will depend on the individual dog.
