Question:

What is a good double stroller?

Here's my dilemma... I have a very big 22month old and a 3month old (my other two are old enough to walk). I need a good double stroller. I tried the Fisher Price Sit and Stand and hated it. It just isn't safe and very cheaply made. I like the Kolcraft contours tandem but have read mixed reviews on it. The Graco duoglider seems nice but once again have read mixed reviews. If I'm going to spend around $200 I want to do all the research I can and get opinions from others who have used double strollers. Thanks.

  1. I have this one Graco Quattro Tour Duo Double Stroller I really like it it folds up really easy and more flat then other ones. It was around $200. It is heavy but what do you expect right. My 3 1/2 year old fits great in the front and the baby sits in the back. It only takes 2 kinds of graco infant carries so this might not be good for you. But over all really easy to push in stores and on walks.

  2. the joovy ultra light caboose is awesome.  I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old

  3. It is right around what you want to pay and a great stroller, I have one.

  4. I just got this one

to use with my 23 pound 16 month old and my 7 week old.

I've decided to keep it after buying and returning a perego and an instep jogger, and researching tons more. Agreed- the sit and stands are garbage. While Graco makes a nice single stroller, the doubles just don't appeal to me-I don't like the front/back set up because one child will always be stuck staring at the others' back!.The chicco turns wellsmoothly and easily-, fits through every doorway I've ever tried, and goes in and out of my car easily. My daughter (16 months) loves it when she is next to her baby brother. Not an awful lot of storage but I solved that when school shopping for the older kids by attaching s-rings (to hold bags) which will also hold an additional carrier bag if you're prone to needing lots of space.  It fits the purpose quite well; and I thought I would never find one we were satisfied with.
