What is a good down loadable software to learn French?

I need a download able program for my computer, so that I can learn to speak French. Almost like Rosetta Stone but free or with a free trial :)

Does anybody know of any sites? Ten points best answer!

I used "Before you know it" (BYKI) to learn German, it is free to download and use and they offer 64 languages. http://www.byki.com

More seriously, When you're righting 'yellow' in French, you have to write it 'jaune'.
