  1. tell ur employer that ur going to start doing community service activities on the weekend in order to better yourself and help out. or could just say that ur overwhelmed right now and really do need weekends off to focus on schoolwork, that wouldn't make u sound like a lazy jerk- it sounds very reasonable.

  2. Your education is very important to your future.  You simply tell your employer that you need the weekends to study and do projects, etc.  My daughter, while going to college, insisted that her employer not give her more than 15 hours a week.  She worked a combination of weeknights and weekends, but never more than 15 hours.  It worked out really well for her and did free her up for studies.

  3. kidney dialysis

sorry-couldn't resist, and not making light of those who need such treatment

tell the truth-you're a student and need the time for studies

  4. You don't need a good excuse ... just explain that your school grades are at risk because you a great deal of stuff on your plate right now.

People can only juggle so much before burning/stressing out completely. If your employer doesn't respect the fact that you want to focus more on school, then find another employer who will. By the way, if you're worried about that forthcoming interview question, "Why did you leave your last job?", don't be. Wanting to concentrate on school is a perfectly valid reason.

  5. The truth. Goals are struggles at times. No pain, No gain. Sit down and talk to your Employer. Maybe you can get two week ends a month instead of trying for all week ends.

  6. If you have kids, tell your employer you don't have a babysitter.

If you don't have kids, tell your employer you're a Seventh Day Adventist.
