  1. i do sports but a good excuse is you could brake a body part or maybe get injured

  2. You're opening sentence seems to say that you're open minded about doing  X-Country - yet quickly it turns to "What are good excuses not to do it?"

This makes me feel either you aren't confident enough to compete when the season comes, or that you've lost the desire to do X-country altogether.

If it's the first of those - then hold off the excuses and wait until the first race of the season - keep an open mind about things.

However, if at that point you still find you don't want to do it, get about a third/halfway through the race, and pretend to trip or stumble on a tricky piece of ground, and go over.

Protest that it's your ankle (notoriously easy to sprain and/or injure), and look generally distraught.

This way you not only get to get out of X-country, but also, there's no way anyone can call you a quitter.

(p.s - if someone asks you if you're alright, answer "yes" but wince whilst saying it - always works)

    Hope that helps.

  3. I would say that I am having family problems I really wish not to go into right now with you.because of this problem  I cannot focus the way I'd like to along with regular school hours, so I must back out from any other activities and get my home life  and emotional state back to normalcy . sorry.

  4. You have asthma (SP?) - It would be considered quitting, but at least it's medicial related.

  5. break your leg, enough said
